Because of the increase in demand for electric vehicles and UK governments’ target to shift to electric cars by 2030, Beau Associates will be providing an EAL qualification.

As automotive manufacturers, we will work towards reaching 100% zero emission new car and van sales in leading markets by 2035 or earlier, supported by a business strategy that is in line with achieving this ambition, as we help build customer demand.

As business fleet owners and operators, or shared mobility platforms, we will work towards 100% of our car and van fleets being zero emission vehicles by 2030, or earlier where markets allow

This course is provided for Electricians who will be installing Electric Vehicle chargers in domestic and commercial locations. When qualified you will be able to apply for inclusion on the OZEV (The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) register of competent Electric Vehicle Charging Installers.

During the course you will be provided  with expert guidance and support covering the skills and knowledge needed to plan installation, and install EV chargers in domestic and commercial properties.  You will also cover fault-finding and  inspection and testing of the completed installation.


The learner should be competent in a range of electrical installations, including PVC Flat profile (Twin and earth) cable and Steel wire armoured (SWA) cable.  Learners should be up to date with the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Please note there is no training provided in the course for installation of these cables.

The minimum age is 18 years old. 

The course will be delivered at our offices in Ashton under Lyne.
