This course is provided for Electricians who will be installing Electric Vehicle chargers in domestic and commercial locations. When qualified you will be able to apply for inclusion on the OZEV (The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) register of competent Electric Vehicle Charging Installers.
During the course you will be provided with expert guidance and support covering the skills and knowledge needed to plan installation, and install EV chargers in domestic and commercial properties. You will also cover fault-finding and inspection and testing of the completed installation.
Entry Requirements
This course is for learners who are practicing electricians with a Level 3 qualification or are registered with a Competent Person Scheme (CPS).
The learner should be competent in a range of electrical installations, including PVC Flat profile (Twin and earth) cable and Steel wire armoured (SWA) cable. Learners should be up to date with the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Please note there is no training provided in the course for installation of these cables.
The minimum age is 18 years old.
The course will be delivered at our offices in Ashton under Lyne.
