AM2 e-Certificates

ree

NET has launched a new e-certification system that allows you to view and share your AM2 certificate via a secure online portal, and also order a printed copy to arrive in the post.

The new system is provided via Advanced Secure Technologies, an industry leader in digital secure certificates.

This service is available to all candidates who receive their assessment results from 06 December onwards.

If you received your result on Friday 05 December or before, you’ll be sent a printed copy of your certificate directly from NET.

How the e-certificate process works:

  • After you receive your results notification from NET, within 48 hours you will receive an email from ‘NET Certification Portal’ asking you to register for the e-certificate system.

  • You’ll need to work through a simple registration process and verify your email address. Please ensure you have your NI number to hand or this will delay your registration and access to your certificate.

  • Once your registration has been verified, you will be able to view your AM2 certificate online, share via a QR code and also invite a ‘Connection’ – such as a potential employer – to view your certificate via the secure portal.

Printed copies are still available

Via the system, you can also order a printed certificate to arrive in the post.

Your first certificate is free and can be ordered at any point in time. You will be able to specify the exact address you’d like it delivered to (within the UK), to avoid issues with lost certificates.

Certificates will be sent via a tracked courier service to any UK address, directly from Advanced Secure Technologies.

After your first free copy, replacement certificates are easy to order if required, for a charge.

The benefits of this new service

  • Lifetime access to your AM2 certificate online, if you lose or misplace your printed copy.

  • Printed copies can be ordered at any point in time. Don’t need it straight away? Your first printed copy is free regardless of when you order it.

  • Secure sharing of your certificate between you and potential employers

This service will be available for all versions of the AM2, as well as Cable Jointing candidates.

If you are an apprentice in England, your apprenticeship completion certificate will still be processed separately by the Department for Education and is not part of the AM2 e-certificate system. More about Apprenticeship Completion certificates
